If you find yourself at Disney World for Easter, both The Magic Kingdom and Epcot celebrate the holiday.
The Magic Kingdom has a meet and greet with The Easter Bunny and his wife. I’ll bet you didn’t even know that The Easter Bunny was married. They can be found in the garden next to City Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Bunny also serve as Grand Marshalls in the special Easter Pre Parade. Pre Parade meaning, it’s a very short parade that occurs before the main parade of the day.
It’s pretty crowded at The Magic Kingdom on Easter Day. Get there early for “Rope Drop”, about 1/2 hour before the park opens, and you’ll be able to do a lot before noon, which is when the crowd starts to build.
Epcot also has a meet and greet with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny. They can be found at the American Adventure.
Easter is a great day to visit Epcot. The International Flower and Garden Festival set the back drop for a perfect holiday.
For the smaller kids, Epcot offers Easter Egg Hunts and Relay Races, depending on the age of the child.
You sign the kids up early and are given a time to return.
The gals who run the festivities are a hoot!
The winning team only gets a goodie bag.
Last year Dear Son got…
Not a bad haul!
Elsewhere at the World, Animal Kingdom has a meet and greet with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, and several of the resorts have Easter Egg Hunts and activities for their guests.
